Accommodation

The hotels are split into Southern Suburbs, closer to the fields (3 to 6 kms), City Centre (+/- 10 kms) and Sea Point (13 to 18 kms). Travelling to the playing fields from the City Centre and Sea Point will take roughly 15 to 30 minutes depending on the time of day.

All hotels are contracted from 9 to 22 October 2024, but dates on either side can be secured – please email Louise on wcsa@highline.co.za with your additional dates.

Please see below for the Payment Terms & Conditions as well as the Cancellation Terms. Payments can be made by electronic funds transfer (all charges for the payor’s account). All monies will be held in a Trust account for security and protection purposes.

Hotel rates INCLUDE the following:

• Meet and Greet at Cape Town International Airport.
• Special discounted rates on accommodation on a bed & breakfast basis
• Welcome drinks at the hotel on check in.
• 24-hour back-up phone number for assistance.
• Insurance whilst travelling in South Africa – public & personal liability (please note that personal insurance is still required).
• Service desk at Western Province Cricket Club fields.
• Assistance with, and allocation of, preferential time slots for practice rounds on the astro turfs.
• Discount vouchers at various restaurants.
• Comprehensive transport solution – see below.

Transport Solution INCLUDES:

• Pre-scheduled transfers to and from Cape Town International Airport
• Pre-scheduled Practice Match transport.
• Transport to and from official World Cup events, opening ceremony, dinners, etc.
• Shuttle service allows flexibility for players and officials to move between hotels and the playing fields.
• Tournament shuttle service hours: Daily from 07h00 to 22h00 (from 12 to 21 October 2024) [Dates & hours may be revised].
• Transport desk at Western Province Cricket Club fields to facilitate queries, schedules and bookings.
• Online transport communication group and contact numbers.

Accommodation Payment Terms:

• 25% non-refundable deposit within 14 days of confirmation of the booking.
• Following 50% payment 65 days prior to arrival;
• Balance of 25% 35 days prior to arrival.

Accommodation Cancellation Terms:

• Cancellations or amendments between 60-31 days prior to arrival liable for 50% of the full anticipated stay.
• Any cancellations, reductions after 30 days prior to arrival will be liable for 100% cancellation fee of the full anticipated stay.
• All no shows (non-arrivals) liable for 100% no show fee of the full anticipated stay
